Leather Line

Enzymes across the six tanning processes.

From the first soak to the final degreasing pass, we cover every stage of the chrome and chrome-free chain with enzymatic solutions that replace or reduce traditional chemistry — without compromising the leather quality your customers expect.

From raw hide to finished leather

Six processes.
Six enzyme answers.

Click any stage for the technical problem it solves and the enzyme class we deploy.

Why enzymes

Cleaner chemistry, better leather.

Enzymes target specific bonds in collagen, keratin and lipids — the same reactions that sulphide, ammonium sulphate and petrochemical surfactants achieve, but with a tighter process window and a lower effluent load. The result is premium-quality leather produced with safer, gentler and more environmentally friendly chemistry.

What we work with

Every hide is different.

Bovine, sheep, pig, goat — fresh, salted. Each substrate has its own chemistry. Our enzymes are tuned to the material your plant actually processes.

01

Bovine

The full tanning chain at industrial scale. From soaking through wet-blue with one enzyme tuned to each stage.

02

Sheep & pig

High natural fat content. Our lipases handle degreasing without petrochemical surfactants. Acid-tolerant proteases for premium finishes.

03

Goat & exotic

Fine-grain leathers and selective treatments. Smaller batches, customised dosing per case, premium output.

Selling the enzyme without the consultancy doesn't work.

An enzyme on its own solves nothing. That's why we sell product and process know-how together: we go to your plant, measure, adjust and stay until it comes out the way it should.

How we work

Three steps, no surprises.

No generic proposals or empty promises. Before proposing any product, we look at your real process. Before selling you anything, we test it on your hides.

First we look

Process audit at your plant: dosages, pH, temperature, effluents. If what you have already works well, we'll tell you.

Pilot on your hides

We test with your real batches, not laboratory samples. Without stopping production, with clear metrics from the first run.

Ongoing follow-up

Regular reviews, training for the plant team and access to our partners' expanded catalogue for complex cases.
